Do not email yamaha from there Web pages "contact us" link. Someone is steeling the information from the form you fill out. I was hit and have been getting endless emails and phone calls from spammers.
We had an I.T guy here to try and figure it out. In the list of pages I gave him that I contacted he said the yamaha pages when he looked into them (not computer savey) (don’t know the terms) but info is being stolen from there pages

Shift buttons do nothing on 01 Foreman 500

I am not getting any error signals on my LED screen.I get an "N" when in neutral, an "R" when in reverse, but I get nothing when I am in drive. Just a blank space. Nothing flashes. If I start with the up and down buttons pressed, it does not communicate with the control motor. If I put it in ESP mode, it does not do anything when I press the up or down button. No noise or anything. I can drive the ATV, but it stays in first gear. When in Drive, the screen shows D1, D2 AND ESP, but when in Neutral and Reverse, it shows whichever mode you are actually in.

I have read to change everything from the wiring harness ($600) to the battery to the angle sensor. This could get expensive to part swap everything, so I thought I would post my specific problem to see if anyone has experienced this and could provide some guidance.

TRX 300 4×4 CDI Question

Hi All,

I am a new member here. I recently picked up a Fourtrax 300, the PO was unsure of the year. I could not find any numbers on the bike; they are faded. Whomever had this before me had used it well. It was having trouble running above idle, so I cleaned out the carburetor. That seemed to help it for a bit, but then it had a super weak spark, so I figured out the CDI is bad. I am not sure which one to order; is there any difference in these? The ones on ebay have them listed for very specific years, and since I’m not sure which year my bike is, I’m not sure which one to order.

The numbers on the CDI are:

HM5 3294

Oh no I faded the plastic on a new outlander😢

Today I washed up a brand new outlander l and figured I’d put some turtle wax ICE synthetic polish on it for a nice shine like I do my 2010 XTP. I soon found out that wasn’t a good idea when the plastic faded. I’ve been reading people spray tire shine on the entire quad except the seat question is do I spray and leave until it eventually drys or wait then wipe? Been using an old quad as a test before I mess up this new one anymore than I already have tried spraying and waiting 20 or so min get some decent result but can I get better if I wait? Any input would be great thanks

Just rebuilt carb honda trx250 adjustments?

Hi i just got done rebuilding the carb on my 06 recon and i dont think i got the air/polite screw excalty as it was before is these going to cause alot of problems down the line? the dang thing has a D shape head and i had to use needle nose to screw all way down which was about 4 rotations so when i put it back i screwed it down best i could and and we back 4 with it which i think its on or close to what it was. When i started the atv up it would run but had to keep gas pushed in so i adjusted the Rev screw and it seemed to fix it but i cant tell if there set right or not. any good pointers on how to set them ?

2006 Roush Mustang

I purchased this car in March 2012 with low 20k miles. Added a lot of eye candy, hood strut kit. Strut tower brace & tower cap kit, with all the Roush fluid caps. Roush CAI with baffle removed running the Diablo Predator Sports tuner, using the Airaid 91 octane tune, but always running 93 octane fuel.

November 2015 upgraded to Stage 2 suspension, with the wheel hop reduction kit. And had a 5 window 20% tint job.

I received my most appreciated upgrade on April 30th 2016 Mark Martin Autographed the Radiator Cover & Tool Box!

1994 trailboss 250 junction box help

I am new to the Polaris world. Just got a trailboss 250 2 wheel drive barn find. While power washing a few wires came loose from the junction box/fuse box that is by the riders left knee. I purchased a clymer repair manual but the wiring diagram wire colors do not match up to the wires on my quad . Can someone share a picture of their box so I can put the wires back in the correct spot?

2015 XMR fox shocks?!?!?

I have 2016 850 XMR and can wheelie effortlessly now the 2015 1000 XMR sucks ass! I’m convinced it’s the rear shocks and how they are setup, I’ve read the fox shock paperwork and yet no results! In the best laymans terms please walk me throu setting them please so I can have a good ride quality yet show off the belly!!!!
