belt slapping cover

Recently purchased a older sportsman 500 very low miles and hours. new rider. I used it to move a small rv and belt started occassionly slapping the cover. Got new belt and had installed and slaps worse than original belt. Checked the forum for ideas and will try the scotch brite and blowing out dust if any. Only has 600 miles. Any thing else I can check? Thanks

Doors & Harnesses?

What is the best harness option for the maverick? I’ve been looking at Dragonfire and their stuff seems to be legit.

As far as doors I love the look of the dragon fire but the pro armor’s are nice too and cheaper. Anyone have experience with any of these doors? Install difficulty, quality etc.?

2015 570 VL on order

Hey everyone, just got confirmation from the dealer that the indy red 570 VL i ordered will be here in under two weeks, and i have some questions that i haven’t seen answers for on the forums

I plan on getting a fair amount of polaris branded accessories with it, mainly rack extenders, Polaris 2500HD winch, hand gaurds, and possibly heated grips.

I was considering putting a brush guard on the front, but I’m not a fan of either the 570’s OEM bumper or the 500’s OEM bumper. I’ve seen and researched the GURU bumper, but I’m hesitant to buy that due to the fact it needs to be custom made for a plow, and I’m not yet sure of what plow is going on it.

So bottom line, has anyone here had issues with plastics / lights / racks / ETC. breaking on their 570’s when pushing though brush? most of my old quads (blaster, YFZ450, Outlaw525s) had a wide front bumper and narrow front plastics which made it easy to to run down brush / branches / saplings as needed when breaking a new trail.

Speedo / Ecm problems

2008 700×2 problems started with hot lite showing on a cold start up,unplugged battery neg machine ran fine ,2 days later back in the bush when machine idles but as you add throttle it completely dies, check out manual it says unplug speedo test drive machine runs but no speedo no reverse 4×4,let bike sit plug speedo back in ride for about 50 -100 yards low & high icons flashing back and forth on speedo, engine wants to die when throttling up , unplug speedo engine seems to work fine,
Ps there’s been condensation inside the sealed speedo could this be the problem or is it the Eco,both are exspensive want to buy correct item for repair
