I started another post about my 800s cutting out a full throttle around 5800rpm and 30-35mph. Another member suggested I make a new post with clutch or belt help in the title, so here it is.

Quick run down of what I have checked.
Air filter clean
Battery terminals tight
Old gas pumped out and new put back
Checked fuel pressure and it was at 40, another member said it should be 60?
New plugs.
I’ve ordered new plug wires and belt.
Once I tightened the battery terminals down it got a little better.
Well lucky me i replaced the thermostat and i broke one of the 2 bolts in the machine..
Does anyone know a part # for those little suckers.
I couldnt get it to seal , just kept leaking fluid, until wham.. broke.
Anyone else have problem with it leaking and not tightening?:damnit:
This is my girlfriends sons TRX300ex sport quad, Battery is charged and all connections have been cleaned and tightened.
Last week his exhaust fell off, yeah right, just fell off :rolleyes: Anyway, I welded the bracket back on and replaced the muffler/pipe assembly. The rear hole was stripped out so I drilled it out and welded a nutsert in place. I never disconnected the battery or anything electric and i’m afraid I somehow fried something by welding with the battery connected.. Anyone help me here??? Suggestions? New solenoid???
We can push start it but I cant jump across the solenoid terminals and get anything to happen.

The rear hole was stripped out so I drilled it out and welded a nutsert in place. I never disconnected the battery or anything electric and i’m afraid I somehow fried something by welding with the battery connected.. Anyone help me here??? Suggestions? New solenoid???
