I will be coming back to Grizzly

Hello folks, I have been away for a few years, I sold my 2008 550 Grizzly back in 2011-2012, I have been caring for my mother and had no time to take trips/using the machine, my mother passed away this past September 🙁 severe grief as she was my best friend and primary inspiration in life.

Anyway I did continue to be an avid snowmobile rider/enthusiast because there are local trails within a mile of my home, every chance I got (when there was snow and the trails were open) I would hit the trails for a few hours (when I had someone to watch and care for mom) I do have some sick sleds as well as a few vintage snowmobiles <3 .

Back to ATV’s, I sold mine because it sat, I was lucky to ride it one weekend out of the year….now I can travel and want to begin taking odd trips to the UP, Tennessee and wherever with my older brother who is a long time avid ATV’er (Honda guy :()

I have been shopping local Yamaha dealers and decided not to purchase a new machine, I do not want to spend more than 6K…I know of a one owner 2013 550 EP Camo w/factory winch for sale that only has a few hundred miles, mint like new, the only mod I would make is new tires Maxxis Big Horns or similar….I am fine with the power of a 550 as I do not plan to do wheelies or race anyone….I just want to ride the trails and hit the mud swamps (hunting)

What do you folks think of the 2012-2013 Yamaha 550’s? are there any issues recalls that I should be aware of? I have ridden 700 Grizzly’s and yes the power difference quite noticeable, but again I don’t need it…being 53 years old I will not be getting to crazy.

Any input or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Dan
