Found an old 200s in a garage that hasn’t been used in 2 years, we pulled it out and checked the spark and put some new gas in it and eventually it started but didn’t have time to run it properly, the next day it just wouldn’t pull start, the only way I could get it running was by crash starting it down a hill, it runs awesome once it’s going and so I warmed it up but still no pull start, so I went and brought a brand new spark plug and some engine start and sprayed that in the air intake…still no luck…so I pulled the carby off and cleaned the inside out and sprayed cleaner through the jets, after putting it back together boom! It started perfectly twice! But then 4hrs later I tried to start it again and no longer would it start, played around with it for ages pulled it probably 20 times atleast…compression is good, spark is good, air intake seems fine, has plenty of gas, what else could it be??

I am the owner of 2012 can am xp 1000, I have made some modifications, flanges 1", snorkles and radiator relocation, can am prain set to race mode, suspension lift 2" and good to go.
Right now it has driven 1680km and drives as hell.

Are there significant gains to be had with clutching mods on a 1000 running stock size tires? I’ve got a ’16 1000 xxc and ride gncc type terrain. I love it as is, but I was wondering if an aftermarket primary or adjustments to the stock clutch can result in increased performance? Specifically in more immediate power, such as coming out of slow corners or taking off from a stop.
Ok so my buddy bought a 87 trx250x Fourtrax quad and is now talking crap saying that he can beat my 02 scrambler 400 2-stroke with a 83mm carb and clutch kit! What is the top speed of the trx250x? I know that I will smoke him a a race from a dig or stand still, I just want to know if I have to really try and go balls to the wall or if I can baby it and let him keep up with me then just fly by him
Has anyone modified a strong bumper (the good one that wraps around the headlights) to fit a l model. I have the extreme bumper on it now and wanted to add the state bumper. I heard that the top mounts will fit but the bottom will not, hoped someone could tell me if they could be cut and rewelded or new holes drilled before I ordered one
