I have yamaha Grizzly 125 , 2011. I have the VIN of my grizzly. but i m unable to find the Engine Number. Can you pls guide me

but a long time atv’er back out of the ashes after a 9 year hiatus from the machines. Pretty much started out in 1981 with my first Honda ATC 185, and finished riding in 2007 with my 2004 Polaris Predator 500. I owned about 10 other makes and models in between those two and all those years. Several severe injuries, (only one was an old atv related) surgeries, and rehabs (among other things) have kept me grounded from riding until this week when I picked up my new 2016 Sportsman 850 SP in Titanium Metallic.

We recently moved more rural, so I needed something to plow this winter, haul wood, gravel, dirt, other related stuff, so I was able to get an atv to take care of those chores. It was originally going to be a 570, but after test driving both, I craved the power ( remembering all the Predator outings) of the 850.

Anyway, looking forward to learning some things on this style of atv and sharing anything I can as get more experience and use on my new 850 SP.

Looking at this seat trunk and wondering the best way for a quick detach hardware . Those of you that take these on and off frequently will you share what you are using ? Thanks much Don

I have a 2013 850 stealth black it cranks and runs fine for a while then it will start spitting sputtering back firing and dies. Let it set a few minutes then it will crank and run a little then all over again. I checked the timing gear on crank shaft for spun gear and it is in place. It has 115 hours and 650 miles. Installed new plugs but still same issue. Any ideas or help???

i this weekend i really noticed a clunk sound i hear it when i burp the throttle but i mainly hear it when i hit a good bump on the trail does any one have a idea of what it is or is this the norm for outlanders

Sorry guys new to po po. On can-ams you can get your ecu tuned to whatever exhaust you have and you don’t have to buy a programmer. Is that the case for these sportsmans, if so who does it? Also what exhaust makes the most hp on these 1000 sportsmans?

I have a 1991 Honda Foutrax 200 Type II that is leaking oil from the left side crankcase, there is a bolt that comes thru the crankcase that looks like it has a seal under it, the oil is coming from around this seal. It looks like this could be a place for recoil start to have been mounted from what I’m told. I don’t have a repair manual for the machine so my question is. Can I remove this bolt and replace the seal without having to completely disassemble the motor? I don’t want to remove the bolt and hear parts falling down inside the motor. I have looked at a parts diagram on bike bandit and I cannot see this bolt on the diagram. Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
