I have a 2012 sportsman 550 w/eps when it sits for a little while and I start and run after a little while it will just shut down and I will not any power or anything for about 5 mins. then the instm. panel lights up and I can start it up with no more problems. I was wondering if any one had this problem or an idea of what to do? thanks for any help I can get.

05 front differential
i have a 2005 sportsman 500 that has a really messed up front differential unit. i buried it deep in canal muck a few weeks ago. the front end would lock up on me as i riding it back off the trial once we got it free. pulled the plug when i got her home and muddy water ran out. commence tear down. once the diff was out i took it apart and it was caked with mud. and i mean caked. my question is is it rebuildable? i’ve checked ebay and holy hell. very pricey for an 05. are they’re other diff that will fit this application that aren’t so expensive ? thanks in advance.

Thinking of buying a new Can-Am

I’m thinking of buying a new Can-Am. I’m coming from a 2013 Sportsman 850 which has given me a few electrical problems of late. I didn’t mind my Polaris. I found it was very peppy and the ride was very comfortable.
I’m thinking of buying a new Can-Am. I’m coming from a 2013 Sportsman 850 which has given me a few electrical problems of late. I didn’t mind my Polaris. I found it was very peppy and the ride was very comfortable.
As of right now I’m looking at getting the Outlander XT. Comes with the basic accessories I like to put on my bike for hunting.
Here’s some questions i have for you guys.
1. Is it worth going from the 850 to the 1000? I know the 1000 has been having some heat issues but I know my 850 didn’t exactly run cool either.
2. Would it be worth getting the MAX? My wife has been coming out with me more and I have a 4 year old son that’ll be coming with me soon. I’m just not sure if it’s more of a hinderance with the longer wheel base while riding alone.
Any and All input is greatly appreciated.

Max zilla size
I have a g2 outlander. I was wondering the max zilla size I can go. I hear I can fit up to 29’s. I can trim the plastics if I need to. That part doesn’t bother me at all. It is stock size with gp shocks. The only thing Im worried about are my shock reservoirs, with the stock tires I hit my reservoirs a couple times until I cranked up the preload more. I can crank up the preload more to keep from that happening but I dont want it riding like a tank. Im just wondering tire size for now so I can then decide on wheel size. Thanks for the help.
Rear Wobbling
I have a 2010 Honda rancher 420 Es 2×4. This morning I noticed a loss of power and it was shaky on gravel roads. When I looked at it both rear wheels are wobbling but the right is worse then the left. What is wrong with it and how can it be fixed?

My check engine light w is on when I run the codes it comes up code 45 which say my barometric pressure/ manifold air pressure sensor low: code 46 which says manifold pressure sensor is high. Is there two sensors of do I have one that is very confused? I also get code 41 which is air temp sensor high voltage. It’s has been working like shit for a while too. Anyone know much how the machine will act if these sensor are gone?
