Got a 2016 sportsman 570 base model….what’s a good lift kit to go with? And are the base models and sp models have the same suspension? Been looking at the highlifter kit but only found it for the sp…

Well yesterday I ended my elk hunting for the year….I had the little 5 point eventually come in after about 30 minutes of hearing him break brush and chomping his food… He never made any other sounds , no responding to calls and I couldn’t see him at all…. Most of the time I heard him I was sure it was a bear feeding his way through…He would sound like he was getting closer and I kept grabbing the camera to take a pic when he stepped out and then I seen a nose and sure enough it was this little bull so grabbed my bow and got ready….
He stepped out and I shot him right below my tree stand at 13 yards.. I hit him high behind shoulder ( was about 45degree angle) and he went 10 yards and I cow called to soothe him and he toppled over..
The downside is while dressing him I cut my left index finger to the bone and had to rush to town to get sewn up.. Ended up with 10 stitches….
The other upside was I have great friends and family !!!!!!!! They ended up finishing the dressing , getting him to truck and skinning him out ……

Stay tuned for more as the season continues for deer and my Pops and brothers rifle season….

P.S. All at 5 days into the archery season. All taken out of the woods whole with the help of our Grizzlys…..

1999 traxter has sevaral issues. was fine for years with regular maintenence. all of a sudden it like the clutch is stuck engauged
before you started it in neutral or park with it in any (1-5) put it in low high or reverse and gassed it it acted like a torque convertor an built speed
like a centruifugal clutch.
now if you start it in park or neutral you cannot shift it, i have to shut it off put in gear and start in gear and hang on…..dangerous and i need to fix it
is it this famous clutch basket failure i have read about??????
if it is looks like the 1997-2000 part is not available what do i do then????

Hi guys my name is Mike and I’m new to the forum world. Decided to be apart of this than rather taking my quad to the shop all the time if there is a problem that I can fix.

Question for you guys, recently I have noticed that my SPORTSMAN 570 won’t shift into gear while on idle at 1200-1250rpm mark after warm up and is at 1400rpm cold start. So I have to turn it off to do so. If I recall mine use to idle at 1150 from what I can remember but not 100% sure. I replaced the stock belt last year but had no problems at all with it until 3 weeks ago. Turned her on and boom doesn’t shift. Took the throttle body apart and cleaned it and still same problem. Thought maybe it could of been from me puttin in 94 octane gas and injector cleaner the one time. So last weekend I put the normal 87 in and tried to dilute it and nothing happened.

Anyways I hope there is someone out there that can help me please

I have a 2008 420 electric shift when its tilted about 10 degrees only on the right side it shuts down. the gear indictor light is flashing a constant " – " its a steady flash none stop. when the key is turned off then back on the FI doesn’t cycle and when you turn it over it just spins over. Once I level the quad out it runs like new. I Have changed the angle tilt sensor with no luck still same issues. Thank you
