My sons 570 is getting harder and harder to start when cold. It’s been acting this way for a while, but it’s getting worse and worse. It takes quite a bit of cranking and throttle to get it to start, then it needs throttle to keep it running until it warms up for a minute. Once it’s warmed up it runs great, even starts great, but that initial start first thing in the morning is rough to say the least. It is a 2015 base 570 with about 1100 miles on it. Recently new battery (fully charged), fresh air filter, and I even put a new plug in it, but still doing the same thing. Anyone run into this ? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Guys,

I have recently bought a quad project for my kids as a step up from the mini 49cc quad. Its a midi sized quad that needs some tidying and a few new parts least of all a muffler because it only has the header pipe and is frickin loud.

Trouble is I don’t know what model it is nor can I find any VIN to identify it.

All I was told was that it was a 90CC engine, it has Honda stamped on it.

What is left of the fairings has been sprayed flat black, it looks like it might have been red at some point which also makes me suspect it might be a Honda. On doing a little research it seems a bit like the TRX90 but I cannot be 100% sure. Can anyone help by looking at the pics below?

my dad has upgraded to a new foreman and gave me his old rancher so now I have twins.. lol

Craigslist was empty.

Then I saw an add for a 2014 Polaris 570 EFI pop up.

190 Miles 30ish hours.
$5,100

Went and checked it out.
Quad looked pristine to me.
Seller said that it had been sitting for ~18 months.
Had stabil in gas tank.

Had been taken to the desert a few times.
Tires still had the little nubs on them.
Has a rear rack extender, and rear bumper.

Took a quick spin and forked down $4,650

Seller was kind enough to throw in a cover, replacement belt, and seat cover.

So did I do okay?

Hey guys, I’m in the Market for a new ATV, I just don’t have too much to spend, $1800 limit. I have a 2001 warrior and when it runs, its fun but, it’s always nickel and diming me. It has full FMF header and exhaust, Wiseco piston, K&N, procom, and more, but it never runs.

The three ATV’s I’m looking at are:

2006 KFX 400:$1700 HMF exhaust, K&N, full skid plates, two sets of wheels and tires, rock nerf bars, tag bar, original owner with title, in great shape.

2001 Honda 400 EX: $1100 All stock wore down tires, original owner with title,

2007 Honda 450R: $1800 has exhaust, all stock, no title bill of sale, just had carb clean at dealer.

So I’m going to be riding mostly trails and doing some light cross country racing with my son. He has a 250EX that we are throwing some 400EX a arms on. I’ve been told that the 2005+ Kawis are fine, they fixed all the frame issues and everything, I know that the 400 EX are great, but I know that parts don’t interchange with the 250ex and the 450R might be too much quad for me, since I’m still kinda new to riding.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My sportsman began acting up this last weekend. The starter began to run longer and longer each time i went to start the atv. Then it began to bog up and down like a weak battery later in the day. It ended up turning the ignition on and holding it for up to 45 seconds 2 or 3 times before it would start running by the end of the weekend.
A search on this forum yeilded nothing with similar symptoms.
Maybe a rebuild kit with mew brushes? Or something more sinister?
Any help would be appreciated.
