I’m trying to put together a 3 night (Mon-Thurs) little get away and need some help finding a good location. Here’s what I’m looking for…
1) 2 days worth of easy mostly non-technical ATV trail riding (w/ passenger) with good look outs.
2) Nearby camping with facilities that’s not too crowded.
3) Rental cabins close to the trail head.
The first ATV park I know of is Black Mountain in Evarts KY. Lots of trails but I suspect they may lean more toward the technical side. Not sure about the cabin or camping situations in the area.
The second is Ride Royal Blue just off I75 in Pioneer, TN. Good easy trails and cabins, but the camping situations I’m not too sure about.
So…can anybody tell me about more locations w/in say 200 miles of Lex, KY that might be toward what I’m looking for?

Hey all my name is Jared from BC, Canada. Sold my Suzuki kin quad 750 5 years ago and it’s time to get another atv. Going with a grizzly this time. Such good consumer reviews from everyone. Should get mine in a week or two at most. Looks like it’s going to be a used 2014 camo grizz with eps. This site is going to cost me some bux. Seeing all the part reviews and pictures. Love all the product reviews and pictures. Can’t wait to join in the fun. Good club riding in these parts of Vancouver island. Thanks for all the contributions everyone!
Was wondering if a sportsman 700 starter would fit on my 98 sportsman 500 the stock starter isn’t strong enough due to engine mods so was hoping I could find a starter that will bolt on and have enough power my compression is 12-1
Ok I’m probably wasting some time but wanted to get some feed back but I got my grizz about 3weeks ago now and haven’t rode it much due to me installing a snorkel but my low gear doesn’t seem low I tried to pull out a bush from the ground yesterday and had it in 4wd and in low and it wouldn’t spin a tire now it was revving up so I’m pretty sure no issue with power but I’m thinking linkage because I was playing in the ditch earlier and it slipped out of gear so my question is is low gear suppose to b low or just not run as fast as high gear
I have a 2015 Sportsman Ace & my friend has a 2016 Ranger. Both manuals say not to clean the air filter. What’s wrong with blowing air from the inside out on an air filter? In New England it’s very dry & dusty. I have been taking the air filter out and blowing out the dust with my compressor and a lot of dust gets blown out.
I’ve been kicking around the idea of getting a rear cargo rack to mount to my 570. I won’t be hauling anything real heavy but it would be handy. I tried to strap some wood boxes to the back via the stock rear rack and didn’t have much luck.
I am looking at something similar to this, only with a 1 1/4 mount so I don’t have to get an adapter. I plan to just grab one from Amazon or Harbor freight. Anybody have anything similar and is there anything specific I should look for?
I think I’m going to put the Grizzly up for sale. The poor thing just sits too much and collects dust. Bought two originally for me and my dad to take a trip up north. We did but now that life continues to get busier I don’t see it happening again soon. Plus the wife doesn’t care to drive her own so the next thing would probably be a SxS.
My dad and I have sequential serial # camo 550’s, so that compounds the difficulty to sell. Means nothing to others but is something we share.
Four wheeler has had the factory warning plates removed. 12" LED light bar added as well as a 3500# synthetic rope winch. Comes with rear seat box, and front storage box. Stock everything else. Not a single scratch on it that I am aware of other than a white scuff on a rim. Has had initial oil change done and has a brand new battery. All 275 miles were trail riding. Only one time it was in actual mud and it was only the front tires ( not kidding).
I just rode about 20 miles at LBL yesterday and realized that its just not as much fun as it used to be and I don’t have time to go out west and do the cool stuff.
Pics coming tonight.
I am asking $7000 OBO. I’m basing this off the condition and what few sales I can find. Located just east of Memphis.
