Dust in cab while driving

I have a ’12 Commander XT 800 and I do most of my riding on back country dirt roads. I find it gets extremely dusty inside the cab of my Commander while riding over ~20mph. It is easy to see the dust coming in through the sides of the SxS and up through the space behind the seats between the seats and the dump box, like there is a vacuum inside the cab. It is very disappointing to ride in these conditions, really like my SxS other than that issue but usually end up taking my Outlander when I ride for that reason.
Does anyone else have this problem or a solution? I will mention that I do have the half windshield installed…maybe that makes a difference?? I tried searching the forum for others with this issue but did not find much.

The big question… What mod next??????

I already have a vforcejohn clutch that will be purchased soon..
So the next thing, is what next???? What mod should I get or do? Performance? Security? Looks? Want to do something but it’ll also have to be in reason.. I thought about a 4" lift from performance atv.. I’d just have to get a set of 29.5 OL 1’s..
I pretty much ride WTFO all the time and usually in the Florida swamp mud and sugar sand

Issues with DPS. Coupler failed. Advice welcome.

This is my first post to this forum. I have a 2013 Commander 800 DPS. I am starting to have wear and tear issues and have found this forum to be helpful in the past so I thought I would join and ask for some advice. A few weeks back, I noticed my DPS steering was beginning to be sluggish. As if it was not responding at certain positions while turning like it was sticking somewhere. I road it for a few more hours and then my steering went out completely! Lucky it was at a slow speed and I was not hurt or killed. I see an impending lawsuit with this issue for sure. Eventually I have discovered that the coupling joint between the rack and pinion and the DPS unit had failed. The splines wore out and had slipped. So, I removed the rack and pinion and the DPS motor to get the coupling off. However, after I removed the rack and pinion but before removed the dps motor, I started the bike and noticed that the steering still had binding points in it. This did not make sense to me since there was no pressure from the rack and pinion on the motor. Regardless, I have to replace the coupler and I have ordered it but my question is, why would I still get this sluggish reaction from the DPS unit? When I removed it the motor would turn freely using my hand so there is no bearing issue. Could it need to be reset? Will it reset just by me disconnecting it from the electrical system when I removed it? Would like to hear suggestions. Thamks.

Stock Commander MAX ??

I have a 2015 Commander Max XT, My question is will the stock clutch handle some 30” ITP tires and will a 2 inch racket lift change the stability as far as roller in soft dirt. I do understand raise can increase roll over. Just wanting to know if some has experience with lifting a 4 seated model.

hot starting problem.

Hey Everyone. I’m New To This SIte And Have A Few Questions. I Recently Purchased A 2012 Commander 800. This Bad Boy Will Not Start While Hot. You Can Wait A Few Mins And Let It Cool Down And It Will Start Right Up. I Put A New Starter AnD Battery In It Already. The Chargind System Is Putting Out 14.4 Like It Supposed To Also. I Was Looking Over The Motor And Can See That Someone Has Been Into It With New Jug Gaskets And Stator Cover Gasket. I Was Curious How Far They Went So I Pulled The Stator Cover And Can Tell That The Case Is Super Clean Conpared To The Rotor So That Tells Me That The Motor Was Completely Torndown And Dipped In A Vat. Is There Any Thing Else That I Should Look At Before Assuming That It Is The Rod Bearings? Maybe Tight Valves?

Axle popping out

Ok question for everyone. I have a commander with satv 6 inch lift. Rode it all day every thing did good. Suspension flexed great. Going home on flat paved road about 35 to 40 mph the rear axle pops out of the diff. Didn’t hit a bump or nothing. Font know why. Is the vent line not doing right and building pressure in the diff? To much oil? Springs set to tall for the lift? The inner cv joint was to hot to touch
